Canal Street is already decked out with greenery, small wreathes announce the next streetcar rumbling down St. Charles and City Park is twinkling with oodles of lighted umbrellas, reindeer and presents. In short, Christmas season is upon us in New Orleans. Sure, we can't guarantee charming snow men or chimney fires -- let alone a day cold enough you'd even want one -- but we can still get into the holiday spirit with plenty of cheerful events, music and performances all around the city.
